Can you spot Red Dwarf XII in the wild?

We know that you don't need telling that Red Dwarf XII lands on Dave next Thursday 12th October, with the first episode available to preview on UKTV Play right now. But - and we can't believe this is true - there are a lot of people out there who don't read reddwarf.co.uk every Friday, or follow @RedDwarfHQ on Twitter. So those people may still need telling about the new series.

Thankfully, the UKTV publicity department have been out in full force, and as such from next week you'll be able to see Red Dwarf XII posters up and down the country. It's going to be one of the biggest promotional campaigns the show has ever had, and even includes a spot on Europe's longest billboard, in South London!

But even though you know the series is coming, we'd still like you to get in on the excitement: so if you spot one of these posters (which we're not going to show you in full until they go live to avoid spoiling the surprise - so enjoy the deliberately blurry preview above!) then head on over to Twitter and send it to @RedDwarfHQ with the #RedDwarfXII hashtag. We'll be keeping an eye out for the best photos, and retweeting our favourites - and we'll also post a gallery here on the site in the coming weeks.

And while there's no prize to be had, we will reserve special kudos for whoever manages to bag the absolutely enormous one first...
