Four From Twelve
The Red Dwarf XII photos keep coming!
4 August, 2017
Last week, we gave you the first official publicity shot from Red Dwarf XII - and it's safe to say it went pretty well. Not only did it set fandom ablaze talking about the "four Krytens", it even made it into the mainstream press, with papers and websites such as the Mirror, Metro, Express and Empire picking up on it.
So we thought, what's better than one brand new photo? Well, how about four? So get a load of this gallery of new Series XII photos, each one showing the cast in a somewhat unusual situation...
And while things aren't looking good for a drowning Cat and a somehow-suddenly-rather-aged Lister, it's better news for Kryten, who's being waited on hand and foot by a group of fellow mechanoids; and Rimmer, who for some reason appears to have got himself a promotion to Navigation Officer, and what's more seems to be wearing a somewhat old-fashioned uniform...
What does it all mean? What are these episodes all about? Well, you'll have to wait until Series XII airs in the autumn to find out - but you might be able to get an early peek if you move quickly. You might recall we reported a couple of weeks ago that the first episode of Red Dwarf XII is being shown later this month at the Edinburgh TV Festival - and we're pleased to let you know that general public tickets have now gone on sale (removing the need for those pesky expensive festival delegate passes).
So head on over to the Filmhouse website and book your spot - but move quickly! The event takes place on 23rd August, and includes a Q&A session with Doug Naylor, Craig Charles and Robert Llewellyn - so we can't imagine tickets are going to stick around for very long...
In the meantime, we'll keep bringing you the latest updates on Series XII every Friday between now and the start of the series - both here on reddwarf.co.uk and over on Twitter and Facebook. Trust us, it's only going to get even more exciting from here...
Red Dwarf XII airs exclusively on Dave in Autumn 2017!
