XII In Edinburgh
See brand new Red Dwarf before anyone else!
7 July, 2017
Where are you going to be on Wednesday 23rd August? Well, if you're enough of a Red Dwarf fan to want to see a brand new episode of the show a good while before it hits TV screens, you might want to make sure you're in Edinburgh.
Because just as the first episode of Red Dwarf XI had a special advance screening at the Edinburgh TV Festival in 2016... the same thing is happening again for the first episode of Red Dwarf XII! And yes, we're aware that this is news that's coming to you before we've even revealed what the title of that episode will be - that's how hot off the press the announcement is! But we can tell you that the screening will be accompanied by a live Q&A with writer/director Doug Naylor and stars Craig Charles and Robert Llewellyn.
At present, tickets are only available to those with delegate passes for the festival - which are open to anyone to obtain, but at some pretty eye-watering prices. If you don't have a pass for the wider festival, however, then it should be noted that last year's event did also have general public ticket sales made available by the venue: there isn't yet a similar process in place, but if this is made available we'll let you know as soon as we have details!
If you're not able to see the episode at the advance screening, however, then you'll just have to wait until the episodes land on Dave and UKTV Play in the normal way. But when will that be? Well, you'll just have to keep your eyes on reddwarf.co.uk for all the latest Series XII news and announcements in the coming weeks and months...
