Series XI's DVD packaging revealed!

We won't beat about the bush with this one: there's a Red Dwarf XI DVD due out next month, it'll have a cover, and you want to know what that cover will look like. We know how it works. So without further ado, here is that cover in all its glory:
You may note that despite some confusion to the contrary, all four of the show's main cast members are present and correct on the cover. This will also be true of the US cover - again, despite some incorrect artwork that was erroneously submitted to certain online stores - which, although we don't have a final version to show you here, will be essentially the same as the UK cover, just with a few location-specific tweaks.
But another way in which the US and UK covers will differ is that the UK edition, just like the previous Series X, will have a special reversible cover - so if you're really keen to have a set of Dwarf DVDs on your shelf that match up, then just as RDX had the bunkroom as an alternative design, RDXI features the spiffing and gorgeous new Starbug cockpit:
(And only has Lister and Rimmer on, because that was the pattern throughout all the classic series releases.)
The reversible cover will only be available on the DVD edition - but Blu-ray owners who'd like something a bit different shouldn't forget that in addition to a standard BD release, there's also a special limited edition steelbook, which will look something like this:
So all in all, we think a wide range of shelf-stacking tastes are being pretty well-catered for by the series. Just make sure you've cleared enough space for the Red Dwarf XII discs next year, too...
Red Dwarf XI is released in the UK on 14th November, and the US on 8th November!
