Dimension Jump X
That's All Folks
During the day, auctions for various signed and exclusive goodies had swelled the weekend's coffers. Sets of smegazines, poster prototypes, roleplaying game books, Japanese merchandise plus set decorations, props and videos all went home with their new happy-but-broke owners. Top item was Robert Llewellyn's Red Dwarf jacket, which snagged £365. As Kryten might say, if he were feeling predictable, 'Extraordinary'.
The most bizarre item for auction, though, was a string vest belonging to one Danny John-Jules. Danny was reunited with the item after he had given it away at an Australian convention some time ago - and it still hadn't been washed. The buyer should have brought cooking tongs.
Then Dimension Jump X was called to a close - another great weekend from the Fan Club team. With amazing memories, heavy hearts and empty wallets we clambered into our cab and fled the scene in a rush to the station.
Now I think about it, did anyone pay the bill?
