How did you begin acting?

I started in school plays and things and always loved it. I took drama as one of my GCSE's, and that's when I really got hooked. I think roundabout the time I was taking my A-levels I went to the National Youth Theatre, and it wasn't until I'd gone away and done that three-week course that I decided I was definitely going to go for it. I thought, 'Yes, this I what I'm going to do.'

My first professional gig was a devised piece at the Troubadour with two other girls, it was like a little play-let thingy. A mini musical. I can sing - I haven't sung much, I've sung in plays and things but I haven't done a musical. I must admit I'm not exactly into musicals. But it was absolutely brilliant - I'd like to do a bit more…but no pop records coming out!
