As an actor, Matt has appeared on TV in The Bill, and Red Dwarf as well as a huge number of hit kids shows such as Melvin and Maureen's Music-a-gram, Jackanory, Playaway and Space Vets. His films include Waking Ned and Funny Man. In the theatre, he's been seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing and The Tempest - as well as From a Jack to a King and Return to the Forbidden Planet.

As Director or Associate Director, Matt has ploughed away behind the scenes on Jack and Planet, as well as Having a Ball, Abigail's Party Jack the Ripper, Misery and The Importance of Being Earnest.
