After completing her training at Moutview theatre school, Chloë appeared on stage in productions such as The Importance of Being Earnest. Shortly afterwards, Chloë began her television career with Families, moving on to appearances in All Creatures Great and Small, Jeeves and Wooster and Jewels. Following roles in Byker Grove and Cadfael, Chloë was offered leading parts in two SF shows for the BBC. One was Crime Traveller, the other was Red Dwarf.
