Proving that not all people in the media are unwilling to give a little back, Red Dwarf co-creator Rob Grant - known to cast members, alongside former writing partner Doug Naylor, as The Comedy Police - is running another Comedy Writing Masterclass.
Hosted by The Comedy School in Camden, the two-day class takes place on Saturday and Sunday October the 8th and 9th. The cost for the course is £250, taking in everything from how to develop, plot and structure your ideas to selling the damn script. There's also the intriguingly-named Comedy Techniques, "the keys to the mint". And we don't think he's talking Polos.
There will also be a practical session on day two, "Writing topical material for a sketch show which will be performed by professional comedians and recorded in front of a live audience, followed by a debriefing session with Rob." Which, to be honest, sounds like a blast.
